Author & "Anti-Scam Samurai" Expert Announces Release Of Resource Guide for Reporting Scams

[ San Francisco, CA March 1, 2013 ] Self-described "Anti-Scam Samurai" expert and author Kathleen McMahon has announced the release of 'Report Scams: A Resource Guide for Victims of Internet Scams', a supplemental ebook for her series of books on how to recognize and avoid today's Internet scams.

In August, 2012 author Kathleen McMahon published the first volume in a new series called, "Internet Scams Revealed." She began with the most pressing scam topic people experience - email scams. "Top 10 Email Scams" (ISBN: 978-1-938831-00-3) reviews the ten most popular email scams online today, how to recognize them, and how to protect yourself against becoming a scam victim. In January, 2013, she published the second volume, "Social Media Scams" (ISBN: 978-1-938831-02-7). This volume covers scams that occur on social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Craigslist, eBay, and more.

In her newest addition to the series, "Report Scams (ASIN: B00BNIL6JM)," - released today, Kathleen wanted to bring together a list of resources online scam victims (and potential victims) could turn to and report their scam experiences and get more information. These resources cover government agencies, with one link making it very easy to look up your local attorney general by zip code, non-profit organizations, as well as convenient links for report email scams and social media abuses. "Ms. McMahon has saved readers a ton of time tracking these resources down for us," said one reader. "She is like having a friend who knows everything about scams and will make sure you won't get in trouble."

This book is good to have by your computer or makes a great gift for family or friends you know would benefit from being protecting from online scams.

Kathleen McMahon is available for media interviews or to come speak to your group about staying safe while using the Internet. She can be reached using the information below.
